The investigation of the companies, including Silcock and Coiling, Toieman, R. K. Bastable, Distributor Deliveries, and Cartransport, is reported to revolve around the degree of discounting offered to different customers.
The Office of Fair Trading carried out an investigation into the industry some months ago.
