.EYLAND BUS is developing rear-engined coaches to meet growng demand from British operators for this configuration of vehicle. The still-secret designs include a rear-engined single-deck coach vhich will be launched at the Motor Show in October, and which will )ffer a standard of luggage accommodation comparable with the OAN and Bova coaches which have gained a growing share of the n a rket.
A more powerful version of the TL11-engined Olympian doubleiecker is also being developed for coach work, and will have a ;lightly restyled version of the standard ECW/Roe body already itted to this model.
