MR. M. MOORE has been appointed a director of Jonas Woodhead and Sons, Ltd.
MR. JOHN E. CARLOVA has joined the publicity, department of David Brown Tractors, Ltd., Meltharn.
MR. IL P. BEDDOW and MR. W. T. JAMES have joined the board of the British Electric Traction Co., Ltd.
MR. JOHN BROWN, A.M.I.Mech.E., formerly chief technical assistant, has been promoted chief engineer of Dundee Transport Department.
MR, HENRY FORD, president of the Ford Motor Co., is to pay a short visit to England early in February. It is believed that he will also visit Ford factories in France, Denmark, Sweden and Germany. MR. I. L. HENDERSON has been appointed public relations officer of the British Transport Commission and will have charge of Press and public relations in the department of the chief public relations and publicity officer.
M. H. W. ADAMS, who was manager of Auto Engine Services, Ltd., has been appointed chief transport engineer of Bristol Industries Ltd. He will control the maintenance of more than 500 vehicles operated by Bristol Industries, Ltd., and subsidiary companies.
MR. H. S. Micas has been appointed manager of the base stores at Fort Dunlop. His previous position as assistant to the sales manager of the accessories division of the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., will be taken by MR. G. S. SMITH, formerly manager of the rubber wing and saddle sections.

B, 13, VALENTINE, members of the Executive, visited garages and depots in east and south London in the early hours of January 16.
