learned Vlf of the death, which took place on January 18, of Mr. Walter Edward Hobbs, 0.B.E., of Norbury Hall. Norbury, at the age of 72. Mr. Hobbs had a long association with the commercial-vehicle industry, and was for many years with Dennis Bros., Ltd., of which he was latterly a director. We held him in the highest esteem, and regard his loss as a personal one.
