(-Vie of the most colourful Vand longstanding characters in the truck business has passed away. Sid Joyner collapsed and died of a heart attack at ADT Auctions' Blackbushe centre on 10 January He was 71.
Sid Joyner was well known as one of the most successful dealers in the used commercial vehicle market, a business he had been involved in since the mid1960s. Before this he was involved in all aspects of road haulage and transport, both motorised and horse-drawn. He leaves a daughter, son and four grandchildren.
