AFTER a slight delay gainini insurance acceptance of a nev single fuel tank arrangement South Yorkshire PTE's firs liquid petroleum gas powere4 bus is soon to enter service.

The bus, which is a Leylam Atlantean with SYPTI specification Charles Rot body, is powered by an eight cylinder Rolls-Royce B81G ga engine coupled to a Voitl D851 gearbox with built-it retarder.

It will operate in servic, from the undertaking' Greenland Road depot and wil be fuelled at an adjacent Cabo Gas filling station.
