Dr. A. Fogg, director of the Motor Industry Research Association since 1946, has been awarded the 1961 James Clayton Prize of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
Mr. H. A. Romain has relinquished his position as truck sales manager of W. Waters and Son, Ltd., Hatfield, and has been appointed to the board of G. E. Harper (Commercial), Ltd., the Stevenage (Herts) Commer and Rootes Group dealers.
Mr. Leonard G. Oxford, managing director of Simmonds Aerocessories, Ltd., since 1960 and a director of the Firth Cleveland Group and several subsidiary companies, has resigned his position and taken over the job of managing director of Fram Filters, Ltd.
Mr. L. A. Courtney is to be appointed managing director of Castro! (Ireland), Ltd. He succeeds F. A. Youell, managing director for the past eight years. who is now to become the company's deputy chairman. The two appointments will take effect on July 1, 1962.
