THREE EMPLOYEES at Pullman Fleet Services, the dedicated fleet support arm of Wincanton, were injured following an explosion at its depot at Kingsway Business Park, Gloucester.

A spokeswoman for Wincanton says: "All three employees were taken to hospital, and one has subsequently been discharged.

"The Wincanton investigation team is currently on site, working with the authorities to investigate the cause of the explosion.

Gloucestershire Constabulary has confirmed that an investigation has begun into the explosion in conjunction with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE).

The explosion took place at 2.55pm on Thursday 16 December at an industrial site on Naas Lane in Ouedgeley. One of the employees was taken by air ambulance to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol. The other two men were taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital suffering from minor hums.
