Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Tank-freight's 300 chemical and edible goods drivers have accepted the company's offer of a 2% increase on basic pay backdated to July 1993.

The-deal was accepted by a two to one majority: it gives the artic drivers £173.40 for a 39hour week and a guaranteed £206.75 for a 44-hour week.

The drivers, who work out of 10 Tankfreight sites, have also been awarded £260.10 a week holiday pay and a £200 annual bonus if they do not take any days off sick.

The agreement will last until 30 June 1994. If the NFC subsidiary and the Transport & General Workers Union have not settled a deal for the rest of 1994 by July the drivers will be given a £250 lump sum instead of a percentage pay increase.
