• Hino is shipping its all-new Super Dolphin Profia range of tractive units and rigids to Europe. The first tipper chassis should reach the Eire and UK importer Harris Brothers in January. Tractive units will fol low later, according to marketing manager, Joseph Hutchinson.
Harris UK remains tightlipped about the new tippers which have an all-new cab and chassis.
Japan's largest truck maker says all tractor units and rigids including the new 388kW (520hp) flagship could be available in Eire, Norway and some other European countries within three months.
The Super Dolphin Profia range was unveiled in Japan in July. A SH-520 tractive unit with the 16.7-litre vee-eight Fl7D four-valve-per-cylinder engine and Semi Automatic appeared at the recent Tokyo Motor Show.
