HAVING been approved by both Houses of Parliament, the Motor Vehicles (Variation of Speed Limit) Regulations. 1955, came into force on December 14. Dual-purpose vehicles not exceeding 2 tons unladen and conforming to the structural requirement.; of the regulations, are now exempt from the 30 m.p.h. speed limit outside builtup areas.

If the vehicle is not constructed to drive on all wheels it must satisfy the following conditions:—
