Fielding Transport (Grays)

FIELDING TRANSPORT (Grays) has been granted permission for 20 vehicles and the same number of trailers at the Europa Trading Centre in Grays, subject to conditions and undertakings: ● the operator will provide original financial evidence in the limited company name covering April to June 2013, by no later than 31 July 2013. This evidence must show that the business has continued to meet the required level of financial standing throughout the period as an average balance, dependent on the rates applicable at that time; ● all tachographs will be independently analysed and monthly reports will be prepared, acted upon and retained for at least two years; ● all vehicles will be subjected to roller brake testing every 12 weeks, with records of these tests to be retained for at least two years; ● the operator will arrange for an independent audit of operations and maintenance systems to be performed by a trade body or equivalent association at 12 months and 24 months following the grant of the licence. These audit reports, together with indications of any measures to be taken by the operator based on recommendations in the report, will be provided within 14 days of their issue.

Brands Hatch Morgan

BRANDS HATCH Morgan has been given the go-ahead to base two vehicles and two trailers at a site in Maidstone Road, Borough Green, Sevenoaks, subject to the following conditions: ● the authorised vehicle/trailers shall not be washed, loaded, unloaded or be left with vehicle engines running in the area outlined on a plan; ● authorised vehicles shall enter and exit the operating centre in forward gear at all times; ● the vehicles shall not exceed 7.5-tonne gross plated weight.

Foulger Transport

FOULGER TRANSPORT is looking to remove from its O-licence its operating centre in Oldmeadow Road in King’s Lynn. The company also wants to base four vehicles at a new operating centre on the Roudham Industrial Estate in East Harling, Norwich.

Travis Perkins

TRAVIS PERKINS has been given permission from the traffic commissioner to locate six vehicles at a facility in Thames Way, Gravesend.

Great Bear Distribution

GREAT BEAR Distribution has been given authorisation for 10 vehicles and 20 trailers at a new site at Prologis Park, Kettering.

● A PI on 29 August will look at disciplinary action against Mark Paul King, trading as MK Haulage, which is based in Maidstone. The transport manager’s repute will also be under consideration.

● London-based EDS Deliveries will make a new application at a PI on 6 September.

● On 6 September the TC will look at disciplinary action against Turbostar (European) Logistics, based in Queenborough.

● Disciplinary action against Burgess Hill-based Kevin Paul Leggatt, trading as KPL Services, will be considered at a PI on 7 September. The TC will also consider the repute of the transport manager at the firm.

Cambridge

● The TC will look at disciplinary action against March-based Cowling Bros Transport at a PI on 14 September. The transport manager’s repute will also be up for discussion.

● Sleaford-based BM Recruitment Agency will make a new application at a hearing on 17 September.

● At a PI on 28 September, the TC will look at disciplinary action against Intaparts, based in Daventry.
