• -Hie Freight Transport Association's tachograph chart checking service has passed the half million barrier on its fifth anniversary.
The service, known as 'Freightcheck' now checks 500,000 charts a year and business has grown by 25% in the past year, 30 FTA inspectors, located throughout the country, check the charts of around 1,500 companies at their own premises.
Freightcheck satisfies the new periodic chart checking responsibilities corning into effect with legislation changes on September 29.
