Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Tracto, the company which already runs a cross-Channel door-to-door trailer service between the UK and Benelux, France and Germany, is starting a similar service between the UK and Spain.

The new service begins mid-September and is being marketed under the name Tracto Link. It will be pro vided by Tracto in the UK and sister company, Tracto Spain in Iberia, using a simplified documentation procedure.

Trailers will be collected from any point in the UK or Spain by the Tracto company and delivered to either Plymouth or Bilbao for the sea crossing by a freight-only ferry service run by Compagnie Maritime Beige.

On arrival, the trailers will be collected for delivery by the sister Tracto company. For the start of the new service Tracto will be operating a large fleet of tr-ade tilt trailers.

Tracto's trailer services manager Peter Darling says that the service is the first allfreight ro-ro ferry service between the UK and Spain, and that its aim is to catch the growing traffic with Spain after its recent entry to the EEC.

Tracto has opened a new operating centre in Saltley, Birmingham which offers truck, trailer and container parking and storage.
