• French haulier Gefco, which has 2,000 vehicles and 3,000 rail car transporters, is seen increasingly in Britain, shedding its 30-year image as a Peugeot transporter and making its presence felt as a general haulier. From its Oxfordshire centre it plans to provide an integrated transport system in the UK and become a leading forwarder. Gefco goes to most European countries. Freight Management, June.
