COMFORTABLE accommodation for 12 paying passengers in addition to the driver, is provided in a new coach conversion of a Morris J2 van recently completed by the Williams Motor Co. (Manchester) Ltd. Transverse. moquette-covered full-back coach seats are employed, except adjacent to the wide passenger door at the rear, where two single seats face inwards. The plywood floor is covered with Vinyl material and the interior panels are plastics-faced Stelvatite. In addition to being attractively trimmed the saloon is brightened by the use of a raised, amber plastics roof panel at the rear; there is also a Kwik-Vent roof light.

Heaters are fitted at the front and rear and the standard specification covers a twin-speaker Motorola radio. There are ' five interior lights and six ashtrays in the saloon. Among regular exterior features are a chrome bumper bar and contrasting flash decoration. All signwriting and delivery charges are covered by the price of £1,055 with petrol engine, or £1.140 with diesel, and a seven-year certificate of fitness is supplied. The first vehicle of this design has gone into service with Mostonian Mini Coaches of Manchester.
