Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

is buying four unusual tipping trailers from Montracon for a dual-use contract. This involves carrying light scrap metal oneway and palletised steel coil the other.

The smooth-sided 53.5m3 tippers have the addition of sleek side skirts, a fully enclosed tipgear section and twin doors fitted into the nearside. Each 1.9m-wide side entry has double doors with standard locking gear but Montracon builds extra strength into the structure to compensate.

The floor has a lOmm heavy-duty layer with sturdy deck lashing points to give Stobart additional load security. The trailer is fitted with an Eclbro ram and Mentor LM2000 air-suspended axles.

The new Stobart trailers follow Montracon's re• establishment of its tipper body factory at Wood ville near Burton on Trent after investing £1.5m in four full-size paint booths, shotblast and manufacturing facilities at the 4,000m2 site.

Montracon's Doncaster CAD and finite element design centre's work on its existing tipper designs has resulted in a strengthening of high-stress areas and a reduction in unnecessary excess weight.

The outcome is a new lightweight tri-axle Tipper 2000 design that offers 55yd3 (42m3) bodywork for an all-up weight of 5.8 tonnes.

The centre was also behind the recent completion of a stretch and refurbishment contract of 180 curtainsiders for one client, taking them from 12.4m to 13.6m. According to Montracon's European sales and marketing director Chris Curzon: "This gives the owner a further 10 years of use for half the cost of a new one."
