• Sunblest bread bakers, part of the Associated British Foods Group which already operate an extensive fleet of Leyland Redline Trucks, have now ordered a further 90. The vehicles are 64 FG 5.5-ton units and 26 FG 350 3.5-tonners, and they will be used throughout the UK. Evans and Kitchen Limited of Birmingham are supplying the vehicles and the bodywork will be built by Wilsdons Ltd, of Solihull.

Wm. Cory and Son Ltd, distributors for Shell-Mex and BP Ltd domestic and industrial fuels, is to increase its fleet of Leyland Redline Boxer tankers to 48. Already operating 18 Boxers, Cory has ordered another 30 similar vehicles. The new machines are being delivered through Redline distributors Caffyns of Tunbridge Wells, Henlys of Folkestone and J. H. Sparshatts of Portsmouth.

British Road Services Ltd, operating 80 Leyland Redline Mastiff prime movers, has now ordered another 13 for the Contracts Division. The units, for operation at 26-ton sew, are being supplied by Carlaw Cars Ltd of Glasgow and will he linked with Northern step-frame semitrailers on delivery work for Massey Ferguson Ltd.
