Arcese has ordered its drivers not to park at Clacket Lane services on the M25 after the operator of the site increased its HGV parking fee by £5.
Luetchford says the rise from £25 to £30 for 24-hour HGV parking at the facility between Junctions 5 and 6, including meal voucher, cannot be justified. We are instructing our drivers to find an alternative or a suitable place to park if they do not have the driving hours to get back to Tilbury.
“Everyone needs a rest break in a secure parking area, but £30 is simply too much.”
