This is done by hooking thumb around the gear lever nearest to the driver and other lingers and palm of the hand on the lever farthest ,y. Both levers should be used at the same time and it rery important that correct engine r.p.m. should be ntained in order to ensure a clean gear change.
feel that permitting drivers to use the more difficult -handed method would encourage them not to make of all the ratios provided when required, thereby sing eventual costly transmission damage and resulting meconomical operation. Removing both hands from steering wheel for any reason is extremely dangerous our drivers would be subject to disciplinary action for • such unprofessional conduct.
