Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I READ WITH interest the story regarding Waitrose using rapeseed oil in their trucks for a trial period (CM 15 November). I think it's a cracking idea to use a sustainable resource to fuel the industry which keeps the country running.! remember a while back you published a story about McDonald's using its old chip fat to power its trucks— good to see companies using their initiative..

Perhaps the issue of genetically modified crops could come back and be seen in a good light. I'm sure there won't be anyone out there complaining that their vehicle is run on a GM crop oil, although there will no doubt be some tree hugger objecting to it, The world survived many periods. Let's be positive about the future without oil; only in that way will we find the true solution to the world's energy problems.
