V Hill Hire has spent .2,6m on a deal for 350 trailers from General Trailers.

The order includes 200 GT Fruehauf ExpressLiners-4.0mhigh tri-axle box vans with heavy-duty 35mm floors and automatic raise/lower valves for the adjustable air suspension, These will be used for both spot hire and longer-term contracts.

The other mainstream rental vehicles in the deal are 100 Fruehauf MaxiSpeed cur tainsiders—again quite standard bolted-construction trailers. with disc brakes and aluminium rear frame.

Hill Hire has also bought fifty more exotic vans: these are high-volume CargoLiners, a riveted aluminium stepframe design with an internal height of 2.9m and a claimed load volume of over 100a0. The CargoLiners will be used for theatrical and exhibition work, as well as clothing transport.
