MESTRRDAY (Thursday) the 1 Metropolitan Traffic Commissioner was scheduled to hear the application by United Automobile Services, Ltd., for the variation of the duplication Orders relating to the services of the United, Charlton's, Orange Bros. and Majestic concerns from London to Newcastle. The evidence was expected to be substantially the same as that given at Newcastle, a few weeks ago, and reported in our issue dated November 1.
The resumed hearing of the Northern Commissioners takes place at Newcastle next Tuesday.
