Berlin's Figures for THE accident statistics for Road Accidents in I Berlin in 1934 showed that

1934 accidents were most frequent on Saturdays, whilst Sundays gave the lowest totals. Four hundred and twentyseven were attributed to mechanical defects, 8,740 to drivers, 1,724 to pedestrians, 100 to skidding, and 2 to bad lighting. The majority occurred in daylight and on dry roads.
