A ROUSING considerable interest as part of the Bedford rx Cavalcade is this prototype maximum-section tanker fright) built by C. F. Taylor (Industrial) Ltd. on the company's specially shortened 11-ft. 3-in.-wheelbase Bedford TK 74-ton chassis. The 2,000-gal. four-compartment tank is in mild steel and is suitable for spirit or domestic heating oil. Integral hose tubes at each side carry four 11-ft. lengths of 1-in. hose and there are aluminium ladders at both sides.

Optional extras include a p.t.-o.-driven Varly DH100 pump o supply fuel through a 120-ft. 14-in, hose. Included in a tearside cabinet is a Wayne/Smith meter with water eliminaor, pre-set control and ticket printer.

The Taylor company has recently completed a large )rder for William Cory & Son Ltd., comprising domestic 'uel oil tankers in various shapes and sizes.

The holding company, C. F. Taylor (Holdings) Ltd., has ust aequired Zwicky Ltd., the refuelling specialists.
