Some details may be of interest : 39 tires (900 mm. by 120 mm., front wheels) averaged 19,612 miles ; 169 tires (1000 mm. by 100 mm., driving wheels) averaged 19,064 miles ; 105 tires (770 mm. by 100 mm., front wheels) averaged 15.495 miles ; 230 tires (1010 mm. by 120 mm., driving wheels) averaged 19,080 miles. Mr. Paid Brodtinann, the managing director of the company, expects that even better mileages will be yielded by some hundreds of Continental tires that have recently been fitted to L.G.O.C. motorbuses. Bournemouth Town Council has referred the further consideration of matters concerning petrol or other motorbuses to a special subcommittee.

The report of Thomas Tilling, Ltd., for the year ended the 31st December last, shows gross receipts 2495,072, and a trading profit of £21,995. The holders of the ordinary shares take no dividend this year, which is the same position as they occupied in the years 1907-1909. The sum of 216,120 is carried forward to the current year's accounts. The Portsmouth Corporation is about to expend 2180 on a motor lawn-mower and roller.
