weight restriction has been placed on the M4, west London, between J1 and J3 westbound and J3 and J2 eastbound. Vehicles weighing more than 17 tonnes will be diverted via the A312 and the A4 until further notice. The HA says the restriction is a precautionary measure after an inspection of the Boston Manor viaduct flagged up a “possible need for maintenance work”.
