FRUCKFEST CELEBRATES ts 25th anniversary this year, and he organisers say it operates to the ame formula it was founded on.
Colin Ward, MD of Live Promoions, says the formula involves noviding a meeting place at a 3ank Holiday event for operators old drivers alike: "Such is the lemand for trucks to enter the ;arious competitions that the :ntries are always full before the ictual deadline.
"Trucks come to the event from dl over Europe — one of the most )opular trucks at the show this ,ear will be from Norway.
"This year Truckfest plays host to French driver Patrick Bourny, who will be bringing his very unusual Renault Le Looping Camion along, which is a specially made show truck that performs somersaults, and which has been shown on TV throughout Europe."
Away from the main area, Truckfest will showcase the latest developments within the industry, product launches, manufacturer displays and accessory sales.
Truckfest will be held at The East of England Showground, Peterborough on 6-7 May.
