Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

tractor unit, hauling 32 tonnes on a two-axle rear-steering box semi-traller built by Burg. The 360hp (265kW) at 2,200rpm is a new rating for Dar, and the most powerful of the 0F75 range. Torque is rated at 1,450Nm at 1,200-1,700rpm.

It had enough strength to lug out well below the minimum-rated 1,200rpm torque lint at 800rpm on a sharp incline. At 32 tonnes it has enough power to keep good time on undulating roads, but at 40 tonnes more questions will be asked.

Next we tried the 4x2 CF75.310 rigid, rated 310hp (2281(w) at 2,200rpm. It's more suited to drawbar application than a standalone truck, and the likelihood is that UK operators will go for the CF65 range or the 249hp 0F75 version. The 310hp has quick acceleration, especially on the cruise control memory, and was fitted with the optional ZF Intarder with three-level braking. The retarder was highly effective, though this was at an all-up weight of just just 16 tonnes.

Torque is 1,275Nm between 1,2001,700 rpm. This test version is fitted with a 16-speed gearbox UK operators might find over-specified, but is a welcome change from driving a low-hp rigid with barely enough gears to drag it into double figures.
