T is an advantage for a driver to know I what to do if an accident occus whether he or a passer-by is personally involved. A first-aid manual has just been published by the makers of Elastoplast first-aid dressings which will be of practical value in this connection.
It contains easy-to-follow advice on first-aid for accidents of all types—from minor mishaps to major injuries—and also gives instructions for administering artificial respiration. The booklet is named First Aid for the Motorist and is available free from Smith and Nephew Ltd., Bessemer Road, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Requests for copies should be marked "First Aid for the Motorist" and should be accompanied by a large self-addressed envelope with 41d. in stamps for the reply.
