Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Iveco displayed its new generation of ultra-low-floor buses at the UITP City Transport 195 show in Paris. The CityClass was developed in co-operation with Kiissbohrer; it will supersede the TurboCity range.

The CityClass claims one of the largest step-free floors of any rear-engined bus on the European market. It's available with up to four single-step doors; initially in left-hand drive only. Ten and 12m versions are available, both powered by Iveco 7.7-litre Euro-2 charge-cooled straight-sixes rated at 224hp (167kW) or 263hp (196kW). The vertical engine is transversely mounted at the rear and close-coupled to a fully automatic ZF or Voith transmission. An angle drive is used to take the drive to the offset-portal rear axle, allowing the low floorline to be maintained to all but the offside rear corner of the saloon.

Other CityClass features include twin disc brakes at the front with ABS and ASR as standard. It will be built at lveco's highly automated Valle Uffita plant in Southern Italy. Right-hand drive models will be launched in the UK in the third quarter of 1997; they will be joined by articulated versions.
