Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I READ with interest the "Express parcels" feature (CM, June 1).

I was pleased to see, as one of last year's best performers, that you had again included us in your frame. This feature, which is commendable for its obvious attempt to be both objective and reasonable, did disappoint me a little!

Why?

Well, after allowing for Datapost's collection charge (which should have been added to be fair to everyone) we were the second least expensive and performed within the same-day collection/next-day delivery criteria you set. Yet, and here's the disappointment, we don't get a mention in the narrative under "Conclusions".

In strict terms we achieved our "sales talk" by giving: 1, Same-day collection.

2, Next-day delivery.

3, Second most economic price.

4, We have (as well as Datapost and Interlink) a simple national tariff structure.

5, Undamaged delivery.

Surely, on this basis, we should have been mentioned under "Best buys" as the only carrier that achieved a consistent performance over the two years of your survey in both terms of price and performance. I think you will agree that not mentioning us in the "Conclusions" leaves something to be said.

I am sure this matter is an oversight by CM's team and one the editor will remedy in the near future.
