MANY familiar names appear again this week in the lists of buyers and assignors of transport units. Some of the transfers of vehicles are to bases outside their

original traffic areas. .

NORTH-WEST Cusick (Oldham), Ltd., Thornton Street North, Manchester, 9, have sold a lorry (41 tons) to Mr. F. Harrison, Worsley Street, Oldham, and an articulated outfit (51 tons) to Mr. C. Fulbrook, Si Charles Lane, Milnrow, Rochdale, Mr. Fulbrook has transferred his purchase to the Heywood Construction Co., Ltd., Heywood Hall Road, Heywood.

Two articulated outfits have been assigned by Jones Transport Services (Liverpool), Ltd., 58 Regent Road, Liverpool, 20, one (5 tons) going to E. Nicholson, Ltd., 27 Imperial Buildings, Exchange Street East, Liverpool. 2, and the other (5 tons) to Mr. C. Alexander, 68 Loch Street, Aberdeen. Both are based in Liverpool.

Mr. L. Gleave. Holly Bank, Audlem, near Crewe, has transferred a lorry (5 tons) to Messrs. H. H. Hall and Sons, of the South Wales Traffic Area; one (74 tons) to Argosy Transport, Ltd., I Fenton Place, Pontycymmer; and a trailer (21 tons) to Wrekin Roadways, Ltd., King Street, Wellington.

Mr. W. J. Roberts. in the West Midland Traffic Arca, has taken over a lorry (51 tons) from Gleave Transport (Audlem), Ltd., Audlem.

SOUTHERN AREA Messrs, G. A. Masters, 34 Manor Close, Southwick, have purchased an articulated outfit weighing 4', ions unladen.

Messrs. Lambert Transport, 13 Isledon ROad, London, N.7, have acquired a lorry (31 tons), and the. Westminster Transport Co., 7 Maiden Lane Station, York Way, London, N.7, one (3 tons 4 cwt.). K. and W. McKinnon, Ltd., Campbell Road, Twickenham, have taken over six lorries (164tons) and four trailers from Kithy and Davison, Ltd., St. John's Street, Bedford.
