BUS STATION FOR LEICESTER?

THE urgent need for a bus station in Leicester was mentioned by Mr. R. E. Woodward, deputy town clerk. at an inquiry last week when the council sought the authorization of three compulsory purchase orders covering five slum areas. It was proposed to build a bus station on one of the areas after

clearance. . .

" Traffic congestion in Leicester is becoming a frustration and embarrassment not only to road users of all types, but also to many business and commercial interests upon whom the city relies for its prosperity." said Mr. Woodward.
