• The purchase of four new Gray &Adams reefer semi-trailers by family-owned distribution specialist Pentons Haulage & Storage signals a move into multi-temperature distribution.
Correct temperatures are maintained via the trailer's Thermo King SL TCI systems with their shallow (125mm) evaporators, Smart Reefer microprocessor controls and R404A chlorine-free HFC refrigerant.
The trailers, which boost Pentons' fleet to 60, will be hauled by recently purchased 460hp Scania R144 6x2s, delivering chilled and frozen food products on a 24-hour/365day bass across the UK for clients such as Glanbia Foods, Dairy Crest and St Ivel.
