• A manoeuvring device for vehicles with locked or jammed axles is being imported by Albany Garage of Stechford.
The three wheeled Quickwheel has a pivoting loading ramp which flips over-centre to form a well for the wheel, The Dutch manufacturers say there is no need to strap down the wheel but the tyre should be deflated.
A pair of Quickwheels, which weighs 22kg, costs £199 (exVAT) and can carry up to 1.2 tonnes at up to 24km/h for up to 25km. Overnight delivery costs £11.
