• ICI and Virginia Refrigeration have introduced a new refrigeration lubricant test kit which is designed to help contractors determine the amount of mineral oil left in a refrigeration system.
The kit ensures the maximum level of mineral oil is low enough to enable the system to operate efficiently with the chlorine-free KLEA 134a refrigerant — CFC compatible mineral oils cannot be used with the new refrigerants above 1% contamination level.
