• A survey by Central Tyres indicated that UK hauliers lose up to 176in a year in wasted tyre life. Leomar Computer System's tyre management software is designed to counter this problem by suppling accurate tyre running costs. It also helps to select the right tyre fora job; the system records tyre histories and is said to eliminate double invoicing.
The Leomar Tyre Management System runs on IBM-compatible computers and costs £850, including three months' telephone support. The software can be customised to suit special requirements.
