ADMISSION to The Occupation of Road Passenger Transport Operator is the title of a new booklet published by the Road Transport Industry Training Board.
The booklet outlines requirements and standards of competency required by psv operators from next January.
It explains the introduction of restricted psv licences intended for minibuses and of standard licences that will be divided into separate classes for national operations only and international and national operations.
Requirements for operators to satisfy the Traffic Commissioners of their financial standing and good repute are also outlined with requirements for individual competence qualifications.
