Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

RENAULT'S KERAX8x4 tipper. often perceived as being strong but heavy, has been on a diet. A new version for the muckaway market has managed to lose 350kg to achieve an unladen weight of 9372kg with no fuel on board. This is said to be enough to give a steel muckaway-bodied Kerax a genuine 20,000kg payload.

The savings come from lighter hub-reduction axles and threeleaf parabolic steel springs on the rear bogie.

• At Renault Trucks UK's start of-year press briefing MD Yves Garin admitted that Magnum sales had suffered from a lack of focus on the flagship tractor. But he added that this had now been resolved, with the result that 112 orders were taken in the final five months of 2003 compared with 30 up to the end of July. This year's target is 200 units.

The next model within the range to he "re-focused" is the Mascott, which mast he Renault's best kept secret. About 150 were sold in the UK last year.
