Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW LEYLAND company with its registered office in France was formed on January 1 this year, with a capital of FFr250,000 (f23,8501 and this is now being increased to FFilim (E763,350).

Leyland Vehicules lndustriels is the company now responsible for Leyland truck activities in mainland Europe, excluding Portugal where Leyland's interests are predominantly in the bus market, but including Freight Rover in France.

LVI is controlled by BL International Holdings, part of the Land Rover-Leyland commercial vehicles group.

LVI's European head office is at Gonesee, north of Paris, where premises adjacent to the existing office block have recently been purchased to provide 2,500sqm (27,000sqft) of storage space for Leyland parts to support the vehicles sold in mainland Europe.

Leyland claims that to date 300 TL12 engined Roadtrains have been sold in France, and orders for 60 Rolls-Royce 290L engined Roadtrains have been received.

LVI plans to introduce a RollsRoyce 340 engined Roadtrain into Europe before the end of this year, and sees this model as the one with which to gain a toehold in the Italian market. Other T45 models, starting with Freighter early in 1984 are planned to follow but LVI's overall strategy is to establish good market penetration in France first and a sound service network elsewhere in Europe before pushing hard into other countries.
