The firm. which runs 17 trucks, is a specialist brick and block outfit.
Managing director Ian Jordan says that applicants must have experience with truck-mounted cranes and the accompanying qualifications. Candidates must also have their own tractive unit, although Jordan Transport can hire out trailer and crane combinations.
And he is seeking genuine owner-drivers. We don't want companies with half a dozen vehicles," he concludes. "Ownerdrivers have a lot to offer.'
