• UK Waste has won a El Om contract to run a new glass processing plant for British Glass Recycling Company. Located in Harlow, it will initially process 60,000 tonnes of glass from London and the Home Counties.

• Ryder is supplying three ERF ECI 0 rigids and a drawbar trailer to Ace Fuels of Plymouth. Two of the [Cl Os are six-wheelers, the other a four-wheeler—all bottom loaders. They are under a seven-year contract hire agreement.
