Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CONVENIENTLY LOCATED behind Hackbridge station. the Practical office was a welcome retreat from the howling weather outside. A pleasant woman greeted us and clearly stated what was required for securing the vehicle. This included two forrns of personal ID that referred to our address, for example a utility or council tax bill, and our driving licence. If a photo-card licence is produced it needs to come with the paper section.

The actual cost for hire was £50 with a £400 deposit. which would cover the first £400 in case of an accident. An alternative was to pay an extra £7, which would reduce the cost to £100.

Our van for the day was a 2001 Ford Transit that came with the highest mileage of the bunch— 92,210. Moreover, its front bumper was hanging off on the left-hand side, though when this was pointed out it didn't seem to cause much concern. But it might explain the enthusiasm to point out the presence of an AA card, complete with full cover, located on the inside of the windscreen.

This use of the recovery services even extended to changing a puncture. We were told: "Don't attempt to change wheels if you have a puncture. All the necessary equipment is there, but it's a very difficult and dirty thing to do. Just call the AA out and wait."

The cab itself was well worn, revealing its age, and the fuel gauge was showing a quarter of a tank — not very ambitious by any means. Overall, the level of service was adequate, but less glitzy than that offered by the larger companies.
