Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Keywords : Castleford, Trailer

Tony Castle. Tony is one of the stewards in the ro-ro drivers lounge on board Sealink's St Anselm ferry. It is one of four ships (two British, two French) that operate Sealink's Dover-Calais service. In a single, 12-hour shift Tony does two return trips. Graham Kitchen. Graham nominated Tayside Truckstop in the competition. He is a regular visitor there while on multi-drop work delivering Homecharm paints in Scotland. Graham drives a Oaf 3300 and tri-axle boxvan trailer combination for paint manufacturer Kalon of Birstall, near Leeds.

Terry Jones. Terry drives for chocolate manufacturer Lesme Chocolates of Banbury, delivering to wholesale bakeries and confectionery companies. The chocolate can be either liquid or solid and so Terry's regular ERF C40 pulls either a tank trailer or a boxvan. He nominated Whitwood Truck Stop.

Maureen and Sheila Ridgway. With their husbands Donald and Philip (brothers) they are the proprietors of Tayside Truckstop in Dundee. Their truckstop has a wide range of services and is well appointed. The Ridgways were keen to pass on the praise to their staff who, they said, have played a large part in the success.

Geoff Davis. Geoff was one of the coach drivers who nominated Sealink's St Anselm. He drives for London coach company Frames Rickards, usually carrying incoming tourists on sight-seeing and extended tours. His regular coach is a Leyland Leopard with a Plaxton Supreme body. Geoff would most like to see more meal and coffee stops that welcome rather than shun coach parties.

Stuart Wardell. Stuart is the coowner of the Whitwood Truck Stop near Castleford. This enjoys a very convenient position just a few hundred yards from junction 31 of the M62, not far from the busy M1/M62 interchange. But he has encountered opposition to his wish to erect a sign to tell drivers that the truckstop exists. Despite taking the matter as far as Transport Minister Lynda Chalker he has not got his sign. Is it protectionism for motorway services areas? asks Stuart.
