Groupage for Italy

• R.L. International, 150 High Street, Stratford, London E15, has commenced a new export/import groupage service between the UK and Italy.

Operated in conjunction with Tast SARL Transporti Internazionali of Milan, the weekly service utilizes driver-accompanied TIR "road trains" with a total capacity of 70 cu metres.

The trailers leave No. 3 Shed LIFT (London International Freight Terminal) every Tuesday and arrive at Test's private depot in Milan the following Thursday. Distribution throughout Italy can be arranged. The return trailer leaves Milan every Friday, arriving at LIFT the following Monday.

Departures in both directions may increase to twice a week in the near future.

Boxes to Portugal O Following response to its trailer service to Portugal, which commenced operation on September 1, Iberian Trailer Express, 7 Ditchburn Street, London E14, has now extended its facilities to include containers

both groupage and full loads — with the introduction of Iberian Container Express.

Initially ITX will offer a groupage service from its London depot to Lisbon and to Leixoes for Oporto, with direct frequent departures. Full loads (20ft and 40ft containers) can also be arranged.
