equipment from Grundfos is divided into three categories : light, medium and heavy duty.

The light range is best suited for the normal form of car wash and comprises three models. The CP2-140 has a 1.5KW (2hp) motor and a choice of nozzle diameters — 3.5, 4 and 4.5mrit A choice of either a single-phase 240? motor or a three-phase 415V unit is offered.

The CP2-200 is equipped with a 3hp motor and has a pumping capacity with a 4.5mm nozzle of 39 litres/min (8.5gpm). The final light duty model is the CP3-160 which runs from a three-phase 4hp motor and can deliver up to 41 litres/min (9gpm).

The four-gun model in the medium range has a 7.5hp motor and is known as the CR8-160, capable of delivering 41 litres/min (9gpm) from each of its four hoses at 1,275kN/sq m (185psi).

The heavy duty range has been designed for commercial vehicles chassis washing and all the models are fitted with three-phase motors. The CP3240 7.5hp pump is available in oneor two-gun form. Both models can produce 36 litres/ min (8gpm) with pressures of 2,068kN/sq m (300psi) and 1,689kN/sq m (245psi) respectively.

This is the Grundfos CP3-240 with two gun manifold. Delivery pressures are up to 2,210kN/sq m (320psi) at flow rates of up to 36 litres/min (80gpm).
