TWO SIZES of machine in hot and cold versions are offered. The Lightning 900 is a hot and cold machine powered by a two 'horsepower motor directly coupled to a four piston pump having a maximum output of 13.7 litres/min (3gpm) at 5,860kN/sq m (850psi).
The machine is also a combined steam cleaner and the pressure can be set at any point between 2,068kN/sq m (300psi) and the maximum. Heating is by a Nu-way pressure jet burner having fully automatic ignition.
The Lightning 500 is similar in all respects to the 900 model except 'that the maximum output is 9.1 litres/min (2gpm) at 3,447kN/sq .m (500psi). .Cold water versions of the above are 'available using the same pumps and motors. As with the hot water 'machines they have in-built detergent metering.
