Seems I "retired" John Hanlon prematurely in my piece about him last week in this column. Sorry about that. When he gave his entertaining valedictory speech at the RHA dinner in May I understood he was then on the brink of retirement, but it seems the true date is in December this year. Substituting a later retirement date in the context of what I wrote last week doesn't alter my eager anticipation for his conference opinions about 0-licensing.
