THE possibility of different speed limits for day and night is being looked into by Dr John Gilbert, the Transport Minister, He is considering whether such a system would be practicable, and likely to make roads safer, said Dr Gilbert in the Commons last week.
He noted that legislation would not necessarily be required to bring in any such changes.
